About Destiny Stone
Destiny Stone knows that real estate is rarely just about the house. It’s about timing, family, change, uncertainty, logistics, emotions, and trying to make a major life decision while everything else in life keeps moving.
As co-owner and broker of RBT Realty — Relationships Before Transactions, Destiny brings a grounded, highly personal approach to helping clients navigate that process.
Born and raised in the Chicago area, Destiny and her husband, Chris Stone, have relocated their own family across multiple states, including Minnesota, California, Maryland, and ultimately back home to Illinois. Her real estate career began in Maryland before expanding into Illinois, giving her firsthand experience with what it feels like to move across the country, establish a new home, learn a new market, and manage all of the disruption that comes with it.
That experience shaped the way she works.
Destiny understands that a move can be exciting and overwhelming at the same time. Her goal is to make the process feel more manageable by bringing clarity, communication, organization, and steady guidance from beginning to end.
She is deeply relationship-driven, highly organized, and exceptionally comfortable operating in what she affectionately calls organized chaos.
That is useful in real estate.
At RBT, Destiny helps lead the business while also working directly with buyers and sellers, managing showings and listings, supporting clients through negotiations, and helping ensure the experience reflects what RBT promises: personal, thoughtful, responsive service. Her strength is making people feel heard.
She listens closely, pays attention to the details that matter to a client, anticipates problems before they become bigger problems, and works to create an experience that feels less transactional and more human.
That philosophy extends beyond clients.
Together, Destiny and Chris are building RBT around the belief that brokers should also feel known, supported, and valued. The company’s focus on Impact + Income is rooted in creating an environment where people can build strong businesses while still doing work that feels meaningful.
Outside of real estate, Destiny is a wife, mother of three, figure skating coach, chauffeur, scheduler, problem-solver, and master of keeping a lot of moving pieces moving in the same direction.
Her days can move quickly from a client showing, to running the brokerage, to school pickup, to kids’ activities, to coaching figure skating in the evening—and somehow she keeps the wheels on.
That ability to stay calm, organized, empathetic, and present is not separate from how she works in real estate.
It is exactly why clients trust her.
For Destiny, the goal is never simply to get someone through a transaction.
It’s to make sure they feel supported through whatever chapter comes next.
Relationships Before Transactions. Always.
