    About Chris Stone

Outside of real estate, Chris is a dad, husband, longtime DJ and entertainer, event host, musician, lifelong student, and the kind of person who is usually fixing, building, learning, smoking something on the grill, or helping a friend solve a problem.

He has spent decades reading rooms—sometimes from behind a DJ booth, sometimes in a boardroom, sometimes across a kitchen table—and that ability to connect with people is a big part of how he leads. He believes the best relationships are built by showing up, being curious, keeping your word, and not taking yourself too seriously.

Whether he is hosting an event, working on a house project, teaching a class, or helping someone navigate a major decision, Chris tends to bring the same mix of energy, empathy, creativity, and “we’ll figure it out” mentality that defines RBT.

Chris Stone doesn’t believe real estate needs more scripts, more corporate layers, or more people chasing the next transaction.

He believes it needs better relationships, stronger strategy, and people willing to think differently.

As Founder and Designated Managing Broker of RBT Realty — Relationships Before Transactions, Chris is building an independent brokerage around a simple idea: do exceptional business, build something meaningful, and never lose the human being in the middle of the deal.

His perspective was forged long before real estate.

Chris spent more than two decades leading customer-facing businesses and teams, with leadership responsibility spanning 200+ locations and approximately $400 million in enterprise revenue. That experience taught him how to build teams, develop people, tell a compelling story, make decisions under pressure, and turn strategy into execution.

Today, he brings that same operating mindset to real estate.

Chris works across residential, luxury, land, farm, and investment properties, approaching every assignment as more than a listing or purchase. He digs into the asset, the numbers, the positioning, the story, the risk, and the negotiation—then builds a strategy around what actually needs to happen.

But RBT is also about something bigger.

Chris and co-owner Destiny Stone are building a brokerage designed for people who hire brokers, the people who are brokers and those that want to be brokers.

For clients, that means advocacy that extends beyond the closing table.

For brokers, Chris’s philosophy is Impact + Income: build a stronger business, keep more of what you create, develop a brand that actually belongs to you, have access to leadership when things get complicated, and do work that matters. RBT’s model is intentionally built around brokers being known, supported, developed, and given the freedom to grow rather than disappearing inside a giant organization.

But Chris believes there are moments when what you really need is judgment, creativity, leadership, negotiation, or someone willing to pick up the damn phone.

    That’s where people still win.

Outside of transactions, Chris brings the same philosophy into classrooms and the community, speaking with students about relationships, personal brand, sales, storytelling, leadership, entrepreneurship, and real estate. His goal isn’t to hand someone the “right answer”—it’s to help people develop the judgment, relationships, and confidence to create their own.

    Build the relationship early.

Because Chris isn’t interested in building another brokerage. He’s interested in helping build better businesses, better brokers, stronger relationships—and a version of real estate worth being excited about.

    Relationships Before Transactions. Always.
